SUV’s are made by every manufacturer in all shapes and sizes. Sorting through all of the choices in the used SUV market can be a difficult job. Whether you are looking for a small, fuel efficient SUV like the Honda CR-V or a full size SUV that can seat 8 like the Chevrolet Suburban, the choices seem endless.
One SUV that strikes a great balance between the small and full size ranges is the Buick Enclave. It is a mid sized SUV with a 275hp 3.6L V6 that gets respectable gas mileage, yet also can be had with third row seating for up to 7 full sized adults. In user reviews, the 2008 Buick Enclave scored 4.8 out of 5 stars on the popular used vehicle shopping website Cargurus. You can read the full review HERE.
The base model is the CX 2WD that can also be equipped with AWD. The top of the line is the fully loaded CXL AWD. It is equipped with all the bells and whistles including leather, Navigation and rear entertainment with DVD. The fit and finish of the Buick Enclave is above average for an american made SUV.
Prices for used Buick Enclaves are another tick in the positive box. Entry level CX models start at around $10,000. A fully loaded, top of the line CXL model with under 100,000 miles can be had for well under $20,000. With prices of many lower quality, less equipped used SUV’s nearing $30,000, the Buick Enclave is one heck of a deal.
